成人大片 is delighted to announce the appointment of Ms. Rae Lang as the new Elementary School Principal for 成人大片 School Hong Kong, succeeding Ms. Rose Chambers, which will take effect in August 2023.

Ms. Lang joins us from Woodlands Preschools Hong Kong, a fellow Cognita school, where she currently serves as the Director of Teaching & Learning and the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Born and raised in New Zealand, Ms. Lang began her principalship in 2005 after completing the First Time Principal Programme at the University of Auckland. As a seasoned principal, she has 12 years of international experience spanning New Zealand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong. In addition to her professional experience, she holds esteemed academic qualifications, including a Bachelor of Education from the University of Otago, New Zealand.

Ms. Lang also brings 17 years of curriculum expertise in leading and developing early childhood and elementary curriculum with an engaging inquiry-based approach at the forefront. Following the culture of care embedded at 成人大片 during the leadership of Ms. Chambers, Ms. Lang will continue to lead and grow our Elementary school community inclusively through collaboration, empowerment, and care.

Ms. Lang is delighted about her appointment and shares, “I am very excited to be joining the 成人大片 community. I look forward to working collaboratively with parents and faculty to develop students academically, socially, and emotionally. Students achieve their best when excited to come to school daily, and I love my role as an educator in helping students attain both outcomes.”

2023/24学年新任小学校长任命公告

本校欣然宣布，Rae Lang女士將於2023年8月接替現任小學校長Rose Chambers女士，成為成人大片 School Hong Kong新任小學校長。

Rae Lang女士現為Cognita集團旗下Woodland Preschools Hong Kong的教學總監及專責保障主任。她於紐西蘭出生，2005年從奧克蘭大學（University of Auckland）完成首個校長課程後正式開展她的校長生涯。她於紐西蘭、越南和香港等地工作逾12年，在世界各地領導多所國際學校，經驗豐富。同時，她亦有17年經驗帶領及發展以探究為本的幼兒教育和小學課程。除了其專業經驗外，Rae Lang女士擁專業學術資格，包括獲得由紐西蘭奧特哥大學（University of Otago）頒發的教育學士學位。

在現任小學校長Rose Chambers女士的領導下，成人大片一直為孩子提供關愛的學習環境和文化。Rae Lang女士接任後，將繼續連繫各部門家校合作，帶領小學部繼續發展成為包容、互助互愛的社群。

成人大片 is delighted to announce that, after an extensive international recruitment process, Mr. Marco Longmore has been appointed as the new Head of School for 成人大片 School Hong Kong, succeeding the founding Head of School, Ms. Karrie Dietz. This will take effect in January 2023.

Mr. Longmore brings about 17 years of headship and senior-level leadership to 成人大片, including within top international schools across the UK, Asia, and the Middle East. Twice he served as a Founding Head to set up new schools in Dubai and China.

Announcing the news to the 成人大片 community, Eric van den Berg, Chief Executive Officer of Cognita Asia, remarked, “Marco impressed the search committee with his thorough understanding of all areas of school life and his intricate cultural knowledge of Hong Kong and the international school environment. We are confident that Marco will bring 成人大片 Hong Kong forward on a continued path of development and growth, encapsulating both his experience and the great foundations of the school.”

Mr. Longmore shares excitement about his appointment. He remarked, “It is truly an honor to join the 成人大片 School community here in Hong Kong. I look forward to meeting with all students, staff, and parents in the months ahead. Together, we will build on the tremendous success seen in past years and look to the many achievements to come”.

总校长任命公告

成人大片 School Hong Kong 欣然宣布，經過全球招聘程序和嚴格遴選後，現正式委任Marco Longmore 先生為本校總校長。Marco Longmore 先生將於2023 年 1 月起接替創校總校長 Karrie Dietz 女士，成為成人大片第二任總校長。

Marco Longmore 先生擁有近17年豐富的領導經驗，曾帶領英國、亞洲及中東等地多間頂尖國際學校，當中更兩度參與新校創建，於杜拜和中國內地成立學校。

Cognita Asia 首席執行官 Eric van den Berg 宣布該消息時表示：「Marco 對學校各領域都相當熟悉，並對香港的獨特文化和國際學校生態有透徹了解，讓遴選委員會留下深刻的印象。我深信Marco 將領導 成人大片 向前邁進，共創未來。」

成人大片 School resumes online learning for Grade 6-12 secondary students from August 29 (Monday) to September 2 (Friday). The elementary division remains largely unaffected and will continue in-person learning.

As COVID-19 cases have risen across Hong Kong, we appreciate the vigilance of our families in testing and reporting to protect the wider community. We look forward to welcoming our Secondary students back on campus on September 5 (Monday), and appreciate the support of our community and the dedication of our teachers in providing an innovative learning experience during this brief pivot back to online learning.

受到近日疫情影响，本校中学部（6至12年级）将於8月29日（星期一）至9月2日（星期五）以居家网上课堂授课。与此同时，小学部大部分班级不受影响，面授课堂将会继续进行。

学校十分感谢所有家长及学生展示诚信，坚持於上学前进行病毒测试，以行动保障全体师生的健康。所有中学部学生将可於9月5日（星期一）重返校园，享受实体课堂。在此再次感谢全体家长、教职人员的鼎力支持与合作，於短时间内為中学部学生迅速转移到网上课堂，让我们的学生得以继续获得多元创新的学习体验。

The accreditation offered by WASC is globally renowned and recognized by top universities. More importantly, the independent audit process evaluates a school’s ability to deliver high-quality student learning while seeking ongoing school improvement.

The addition of WASC increases 成人大片’s global accreditations to three. 成人大片 first achieved accreditation by the Council of International Schools (CIS) in 2020 and added the International Baccalaureate World School (IB) authorization in 2021.
